Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast reporter. Her most well-known role is anchorwoman for CNN's morning show At This Hour. Bolduan was also the anchor of CNN's morning programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was one of CNN s award-winning coverage of the 2012 and 2016 presidential election. Bolduan also worked as a congressional correspondent based in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan's reports on the activities of Congress and events during her time as part of the Capitol Hill Unit included the discussion to increase the limit on debt for the US and deliberations by the super-committee. Additionally, she worked as a general-assignment correspondent and covered such topics as for instance the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme Court's decision concerning Obamacare and the implementation in 2009 of the stimulus plan.
