Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Initiated by her observation of shadows reflected upon the ground and shadows on the ground, the artist spent months experimenting with a method to convey objects with two dimensions onto canvas. Rather the subject is transformed into a reproduction of itself, where the surface becomes the carrier of it's own painterly interpretation, especially when the subjects are live or perishable objects like people or fruits. Alexa Meade's works are fleeting and the image is what is left. Since the painting and photographic techniques are synchronized so tightly and result in the trompe-l'oeil effect that creates the illusion of 3D can only be seen at specific places, for example the area around the eyes or the hair. Meade can sometimes incorporate her painted model into the three-dimensional surroundings around it, which allows for them to interact within the world of their own. Thus, the boundary between painting and photography is removed.
